TRIBUTE TO MRS. FAKINLEDE
Oh Death, where is thy sting? Mrs. Fak like I always called her. She was an exemplary mother and boss. She sacrificed herself to make her junior colleagues happy. Mummy Fak told me ‘cry sees’ in crisis, So I am permitted to cry. Funny isn’t it? I could relate with and to her at any time. She helped open my mind to the hymn ‘All hail the power of Jesus name…’. When I taught I was an ulcer patient, she gave me the book ‘Eat right for your blood type’ so I could know what to eat, and what not to eat because of my blood group. She also visited my dad in the hospital when he fell sick after the loss of my sister. All these and many more. What can I say but with total submission to the will of God, I say sleep on my beloved Mrs. Fak, take your rest in the bosom of your Maker. We love you but God loves you most. We meet to part, and we part to meet. Rest in peace ma.
